Effective Feb 1, 2026Version 3.1.1Chrome Extension
The short version
We only collect your Google name, email, and profile photo to log you in.
Survey page data stays on your device — never sent to any server.
We never sell, share, or advertise with your data.
You can delete your account and all data at any time.
01
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we save a small user record to keep your account active and let the developer manage access.
Name & email
From your Google account — used to identify you and show your name in the popup.
Profile photo
Your Google avatar, shown in the popup header.
Country
Guessed from your browser timezone only — no IP address is ever used.
Usage time
Total minutes the extension was open, saved as a single number for product analytics.
Login timestamps
First sign-up, last login, and last active time.
Dark mode setting
Saved locally in your browser so your theme is remembered.
02
What we never collect
These are never collected, stored, or transmitted — ever.
Survey question text, response options, or your answers
Your IP address or precise location
Browsing history outside QuestionPro survey pages
Keystrokes, clipboard content, or screenshots
Payment or financial information
Any data from non-QuestionPro websites
03
Survey page data
When you test a survey, the extension reads question IDs, types, and answer codes from the page to show them in the popup. This data is stored only on your device in your browser's local storage.
It is never uploaded anywhere. Clicking Clear or uninstalling the extension deletes it immediately.
The Download JSON button saves a file to your device only — nothing is sent to a server.
04
Where data is stored
Your account record (name, email, photo, usage time) is stored in Google Firebase, a secure cloud database operated by Google. Everything else lives only in your browser.
